Social Situations Make You Want to Disappear?

You’ve probably been called “shy” your entire life. People say you're just quiet, but you have so much to say! You just don't know what to say and how to say it, because of the constant noise in your head. Then if you do interact you think, "Did I just say the right thing??" It's a never ending cycle, and quite frankly... you are so over it!

You’ve gotten very good at pretending everything’s fine at school. You sometimes raise your hand but then you go into an internal downward spiral if you get the answer wrong! Or you say something at lunch and start wondering if you "sounded weird."

You prevent yourself from joining any clubs, and if your friend tells you that you should go to the movies, your anxiety is already talking you out of it! It's all so overwhelming!

Brain = mush.
Parents = confused.
You = annoyed and hiding in your room.

You’re not lazy. You’re not dramatic. You’re just stuck. And if we’re being honest? You're ready for a change!

Imagine actually feeling like you’ve got your life together, like, for real!

You’re no longer stuck in the mental group chat of “What are they thinking about me?!” You go out and share your thoughts without giving it a second thought. When you mess up, instead of spiraling, you just shrug and move on like the confident, self-compassionate legend you are.

You’ve learned how to find your people, laugh at the weird moments, and actually enjoy being you. Life isn’t perfect, but it finally feels like you're living it instead of thinking it.

Teen & Tween Girls Social Anxiety Group – Huntington, NY

What if there was a place for girls JUST like you?

Girls who:

  • Overthink saying “hi”

  • Pretend to text someone so they don’t have to talk to people

  • Secretly want friends but get full-body anxiety at the thought of a group chat

Hi. I’m Monica,I’m a therapist. And I totally get social anxiety, especially for girls who are smart, sensitive,  funny, and slightly allergic to small talk.

This isn’t a therapy group where we sit in a circle and awkwardly ask, “So... how does that make you feel?”

Nope.

This is a real-deal, skill-building group for girls who are ready to stop letting anxiety be the boss of them and are ready to build a social life!

Imagine walking into your class and feeling like, "OMG! I just did that!" or going to your first party, or doing anything you've ever imagined.

Sure, your anxiety is going, "nope! not possible!" But I'm telling you I've seen girls up their game and their confidence!

Here’s what we’ll actually do (no trust falls, I swear!):
  • Learn what social anxiety really is (and why your brain’s not broken)

  • Figure out how to stop avoiding everything (starting with tiny, doable steps)

  • Try stuff together, with other girls who are just as nervous but also want to get better

  • Practice talking, connecting, and maybe even saying what you actually think

  • Laugh a bit. Cringe a little. Grow a lot!

Real Stuff girls in this group have done:

  • Ordered their own Starbucks like it was no big deal (even though it was-at first!)

  • Actually answered questions in class… and survived

  • Made new friends (not just online!)

  • Started clubs, joined teams, applied for jobs

  • Said yes to stuff they used to full-on ghost

And get this, they were all super nervous at first. Now? They’re out here being brave in the wild.

Wanna try it?

You don’t have to commit your entire existence to it!! Just book a free 20-minute chat with me (aka the therapist who will show you all these amazing things you can do!).

And listen, if the idea of calling someone makes you physically ill? Totally fine! Your mom can do it for you! That’s her job! And dude, you haven’t learned that skills yet! (I say dude a lot btw…. I know… cringe)

But the work? The growing?
That part’s is all up to you. And I’m 100 percent positive you can do it!
